Join Luna Performing Arts on June 8  2024 as dancers  take the stage for an exciting performance you'll never forget!  See you on stage!

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM SHOW TIME 

WHAT ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR HAIR, TIGHTS AND SHOES? Unless you have been told otherwise, we leave the hair-do up to you! Whatever your dancer is comfortable with is fine with us.       Dancers wearing pants do not need tights  Boys do not need to wear tights Ballet classes wear PINK tights and PINK ballet shoes Hip Hop classes wear NUDE/TAN tights and BLACK/TAN jazz shoes  Jazz classes wear NUDE/TAN tights and BLACK/TAN jazz shoes  Tap classes wear NUDE/TAN tights and any color tap shoes Creative Combo dancers wear NUDE/TAN tights. Any color shoes are acceptable. Lyrical/Contemporary dances wear TAN turners.  

Makeup is optional!

Tights and shoes are available for purchase at the studio.  Specific tights, shoe colors and sizes are subject to availability. 

WHERE DO I DROP OFF MY DANCER ON RECITAL DAY, Saturday June 8th? Dancers should be dropped off in FULL COSTUME at STUDIO H/Theatre at the Gibney Center. Entrance to the Gibney Center is at 53A Chambers. Once there, head up the stairs and you will find a Luna representative who will direct your dancer to the holding rooms. You and your guests will be directed to wait in the main entrance. Seating will begin 30 mins prior to curtain.   

WHAT TIME DO I DROP OFF MY DANCER ON RECITAL DAY? You may begin dropping off your dancer 30 minutes before their show time   

WHAT SHOULD MY DANCER BRING ON RECITAL DAY? Nothing but themselves! Your dancers should arrive IN COSTUME and should not bring any food, drink, (other than water) or other items. Please make sure your dancer has used the bathroom prior to drop-off.  If your dancer is in more than one dance, please bring all costumes and there will be instructors/staff to assist with your dancer's costume change.    

CAN I PICK UP MY DANCER AFTER THEIR DANCE? Dancers will remain backstage or seated in the theatre with the Luna Performing Arts staff for the entirety of the recital. ALL dancers will be brought onto the stage for final bows, where grown-ups can hug and congratulate dancers after! Light bites and refreshments will be served after the recital.   

HOW LONG IS THE RECITAL? The recital should run no longer than 1 hour.
